Meet Rachel Davis-Bohs

Principal Consultant

Rachel Davis-Bohs, MBA, BSN, RN, CNOR, NEA-BC is a nurse executive and Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with over 25 years of experience leading strategic transformation and clinical operations across hospitals and health systems. An award-winning leader and proud Ohio State Buckeye, Rachel is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice while continuing to guide healthcare organizations through complex change. Outside of work, she enjoys watching her children compete in sports, spending time at the beach, and reconnecting with nature whenever possible. Through Davis-Bohs Consulting, Rachel helps healthcare organizations and clinician-leaders move from complexity to clarity—delivering results that are data-driven, sustainable, and human-centered.

Davis-Bohs Consulting was born from a pivotal moment—one of those sharp turns in life that feels personal and ultimately leads to something more purposeful.

After years of leading clinical operations, performance improvement, budgets & finance, project management, and regulatory compliance inside health systems, I found myself unexpectedly on the outside looking in. The corporate layoff was difficult—but it was also clarifying. It gave me the chance to step back, take stock, and realize that the skills and experiences I had built to impact patient care weren’t just valuable within one organization—they could bring meaningful change across many health genres.

This company is the RESULT:  a consulting practice rooted in hands-on clinical experience, a deep understanding of health system complexity, love for patients and their families, and a passion for helping healthcare leaders and organizations move from ambiguity to action.
